PROJECT
Red Bull Fringes is a documentary series looking at three of the best extreme sports athletes in Japan as they prepare for the Olympic debut of their respective sport: Surf, Skate, and BMX. Episode 1 follows Kanoa Igarashi, currently ranked #6 in the world, as he navigates his relationship with Japan, SoCal, and his father, who just so happened to grow up surfing at the very same break that will host the surf event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
