DESIGN BUILD TEST IS A SHORT DOCUMENTARY showcasing a community of experimental aircraft test pilots, designers, and engineers in the mojave desert, who are RELENTLESSLY FOCUSED ON PUSHING THE LIMITS in home-built aircraft, when they aren’t at their day jobs - which can range from military test pilots, to commercial astronauts, to design leads on commercial space flight projects.
together, they form a brain trust that makes up one of the most unique AND dedicated communities in the world, which at once feels like a mix between "fightertown" as depicted in top Gun, and silicon valley.
