PROJECT
This project was filmed in Japan’s Hokkaido region and involved a series of backcountry ski productions with Arc’teryx and local backcountry ski lodge Type 23. Filming took place in remote terrain where All access was fully human-powered, with no lifts, snowmobiles, or mechanical support. Every filming day required snowshoe ascents through deep powder while carrying the complete camera package to our shoot locations and then skiing back down with it. Shot planning and execution were governed by terrain, snow conditions, and weather.
